Resizing An Image

* I don't use this blog, I just have registered the name so nobody else would - hence the lack of bells-and-whistles. ...but it seemed like a good place to post this.

Here you go Georgia:

1) Open the image you wish to resize with Paint:

2) Go to Image -> Attributes:

3) Make note of the current dimensions: (here 256x256)

4) Divide your desired dimension (in this example, a width of 125) by the current dimension (in this example, 256)

5) Note the percentage (since decimals are not allowed in Paint, this example would equal 49%)

6) Go to Image -> Stretch/Skew:

7) Apply the percentage to both the horizontal and vertical stretch options:

8) Revisit Image -> Attributes to make sure you got the size you want. Given that you often have to round percentages, like in this example, your final image may be off a pixel. In this example, it became 126x126... so I changed to 125x125 which is unnoticed to the naked eye.
